What is a Podiatrist?
Podiatrists specialise in the feet, ankle, and lower leg, and offer treatments for a comprehensive range of foot and lower limb problems such as, verrucae and ingrown toenails.
Where do you travel to?
ZP Podiatry offers treatment across the Northwest of England including Greater Manchester, Lancashire, Merseyside, Cheshire, Yorkshire and Cumbria areas.
Will my private health insurance cover the cost of podiatry services?
Each health insurance company is different, however majority providers do cover podiatry services, but we recommend checking with them to clarify and confirm.
What should I have ready for an initial appointment?
It is good to have your list of current medication, list of departments you are under at the hospital or community, test results, footwear, and list of surgical history.
How regularly should I book in for routine foot care appointments?
It is entirely up to you and at your own discretion. The times vary from anytime between 4 weeks to 8 weeks. You can choose shorter or longer than this too.
What is the duration of a podiatry appointment?
Depending on the individual and complexity of the condition, appointments can last anywhere from 30 minutes to an hour on average.
